June 24, 2016 (Austin, Texas – USA)

On June 23, 2016 this years Forensic 4:cast Awards were announced at SANS DFIR Summit in Austin, Texas.  SUMURI’s PALADIN Forensic Suite was nominated and won the “Open Source Forensic Software of the Year” award.  The winners of the Forensic 4:cast Awards were chosen voting by members of the forensic community.

SUMURI was not present to receive the award as their team was engaged in training and consultation in Europe during the same time.

SUMURI’s CEO – Steve Whalen stated: “It’s an honor just to be nominated for a Forensic 4:cast award.  To actually win makes it even more special.  Our team has spent countless hours to keep the PALADIN alive and well and we appreciate each and everyone who support us.  We are happy to say the we are well on our way to releasing the next version of PALADIN and we hope that PALADIN 7 also continues to help the forensic community and those who are charged with protecting us.”
