Software Research and Development Responsibilities
- Engage in research and development
- Validate forensic tools by comparing one forensic tool to another using a known salted image
- Write testing and validation sheets
- Deconstruct macOS and Windows applications and their artifacts for items of evidentiary value
- Write white papers for publication
- Complete related digital forensics tasks assigned by management
Software Development Responsibilities
- Build a program using open-source tools for digital forensic software
- Must be familiar with the following: UI/UX, Logic, and SQL
- Complete related digital forensics tasks assigned by management
- Mac experience a plus
Qualifications
- Must be highly efficient
- Must have excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Must be in the field of Digital Forensics or eDiscovery
- Must be able to provide at least 8 hours a week
